Cabin Fever Classes

Winter, winter, winter! Everyone is complaining about cabin fever! We are going to offer several classes so we can all get out of our nest, meet some new prim pals from the area and have some fun. Come on into the shop, gather around our "fireplace" and have some treats in our "log cabin".

Our February line-up is going to be: paper bag scrapbook, rubber stamping (Valentine cards), calligraphy, stenciling and cd scrapbook. Call the shop (248/634-7040) if you are interested in joining us for an evening (or morning) out and I'll be happy to give you the details of each class. We have had a great response, so call soon as table space is limited.

January 30, 2009-Spring Has Sprung

Spring has sprung at Holly Hills Primitives. For those of you who have asked about our spring wares, they are here and still coming. Daughter-in-law Kim and I did a shop re-do yesterday and brought out all the goodies! There are a lot of new handmades, vintage garden accessories and new prims. Watch for our tour of the shop and items for sale.

Welcome!

Welcome to Holly Hills Primitive's new blog site. My name is Dawn Rossell and I'm happy to meet you. I own a primitive country/antique shop in the historic village of Holly, Michigan. I'd like to invite you to come visit the shop in person or through this site. If you see anything of interest, please call me at 248/634-7040 for price and shipping information. I am open every Tuesday through Friday from 10-5, Saturday from 10-4, and most Sundays from noon until 4 (by chance or appointment). My goal is to help you decorate your home with antiques, new reproduction goods and handmade wares. The majority of my inventory is made in the USA by very talented artists.

Holly Hills Primitives is housed in a wonderful old downtown store that was built in the 1800's with 13' ceilings. The inside architecture is very quaint and unique. It reminds you of a little old village of homes and a log cabin. My antique pickers are always on the lookout for the best possible primitives. I not only carry antiques, but candles, textiles, lighting, home accessories, and primitive handmades.
