BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY...

What a beautiful Sunday afternoon in the village of Holly. Our neighboring merchant, John Shoemaker organized a "group out" in town with the Pierce Arrow Car Club and it was amazing. These cars were built from 1901 to 1935 in New York state. The great depression was the demise of these beauties as the company had no "cheaper" model. They were known as a very high-end hand-made car. The bodies were made of cast aluminum and the details were incredible. They were known as the American version of the Rolls Royce. What a treat it was to see so many of these beautiful automobiles in person. The club members came from as far away as California, Florida, Minnesota and Pennsylvania and were all just as sweet as could be. Thank you John for such an enjoyable afternoon. The details of these cars were absolutely amazing! We would also like to introduce Jemma. She is a Briard and her mom brings her into town on Sundays to get her "socialized" and used to noise and people. Be watching for her in either the Eukanuba or West Minster dog shows! Good luck Jemma! It was just a great day in Holly! Today we are taking a day off and going for a ride and just spending time together. Until next time...
