THE PERFECT DAY...

Oh yes, to be at home for a whole day! I decided to take this beautiful fall day and enjoy it to the fullest. The candles were lit, colored sunshine shown through the windows, music to move the soul, and a big pot of coffee. I cleaned, putzed, moved a few things around and just had fun. I should have been sewing, but...
Lit the candle on the table. Love the 1803 Lemon Drop Cookie, but tomorrow it will be changed out to Wood Stove Pie.
Added some fresh bittersweet to the black cat and firkins. I didn't get any of my own bittersweet this year, must have been due to the weather!
I LOVE the original witch that I bought from Theresa Kogut at the show last weekend. Isn't she wonderful?
One of my favorite bottle dolls sits on top of the old pie safe. She is made by The Funky Tennessee Artist and is prim as can be!
I've had this grubby chenille pumpkin for many years, but I still love getting it out each year.
I filled this shelf with handmade pumpkins and witches.
The old trencher on the blanket box is filled with pumpkins and a little handmade cat.
Moved some of my pinkeep collection to the fireplace mantle on top of the old sled.
The kitchen shelf is filled with graters, molds, cutting boards and wrapped bottles (one of my new favorites).
And, of course, still love those old longjohns! Hope your day was filled with fun in this beautiful fall weather! Until next time...
