SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

March is upon us and we decided to open the shop on Sundays again today. It was so great to have a LITTLE warmer weather and some evidence of spring in the air. Dick has been very busy, and continues to be, building away some great new pieces for the shop. I'm so crazy about the new black shelf - had him put my name on the list! The red cupboards are adorable too! Lots of new goodies are popping up every week! The stitchery pockets would be adorable on a porch. The wax sleeves are beautiful and we will have them for each season. And, of course, more prim dolls come and go on a regular basis. I had a great surprise yesterday! One of blogger friends, Rene Leighty (Sew Many Raggedies) came into the shop with some friends. What a sweetie! It is always so much fun to put a face with a name. We ended our evening last night at the local Bittersweet Cafe, had dinner and listened to our very own Gary Musgrave play lots of favorites. So much fun! I've been hooking like crazy and can't believe how addicting it is! Be watching for some new ideas we have coming at the shop (they involved hooking). Well friends, it's time to go put my feet up and enjoy what's left of Sunday with my hubby. Hope you all had a great weekend. Until next time...
