AND SO 2011 BEGINS...

We're back from a much needed get-away weekend to our cottage. On New Year's day we never even got out of our jammies. Just put on a pot of coffee, napped, watched movies - it was heaven! Sometimes we just need some total down time to get our engines restarted.
On New Year's Eve, our friend Debbie came over to the cottage and we exchanged our Christmas gifts. Oh boy, I got some great presents! She got me the feedsack pillow above with the Santa tucked in. It is stuffed with straw and is so adorable.
She also knows that I hang old underwear in our bedroom and she put this cutie together. The inside of the neckline says "S Claus".

And there was even more! This little book is a perfect holiday accent. Everything looked so cute at the cottage, that I only brought the "underwear" home with me. Thank you Debbie.
On the way home, we stopped at one of our favorite antique haunts and we couldn't believe our eyes! They have a refurbished buggy for sale and I think Dick is going to buy it for the shop! It is SOOOOOOOO beautiful!
This is going to be the last week of our shop sale and then on to new goodies and surprises. Lots of work to do, but it will all be worth it.
Hope you had a great weekend and we'll talk again soon.
Until next time...
