RUG HOOKING WEDNESDAY...
I always look so forward to our Wednesday afternoons at the shop. We have the best group of gals that come to rug hook! Just thought I'd share some of the projects from today.
Bonnie did this gorgeous geometric design - drew it herself!
She is also working on this adorable cat rug, can't wait to see it when it's finished!
Sue "M" made this awesome purse, the pictures just don't do it justice!
Sue "E" is working on this sheep. Just wait until you see the finished product!
LOVE this bee that Pat is finishing! The texture is unbelievable. Think it's going on an old stool.
My two latest projects still need to be steamed and bound. The rug is from a picture of my grandpa's old dairy barn and I plan on giving it to my mom for her 90th birthday present. The other one is a secret gift. Can't wait to come up with my next project. I've never done anything so fun before!
Don't forget that we are offering a punchrug class at the shop on May 8th, taught by Teresa Kogut. Just call the shop for details. We have about 3 spots left.
I am SOOOO excited! Leaving Friday morning for Waynesville, Ohio with my friend Tammy Jias and then to the Simple Goods show in Mansfield on Saturday. I've never been to this show before and I just can't wait to see it! Hope you all have a fantastic night and we'll talk again soon. Until next time...

What fun you ladies must be having. Wish I could attend, but I have to settle for enjoying your photos. Blessings, Julie.
ReplyDeleteDawn...Oooohhhh...I hope you enjoy Waynesville!! Such cool town...hope you make to Lebanon also...Simple Goods show is ok...a little pricey...but so much to see! Disappointed you won't be at the Ann Arbor Hook In on Saturday...looks like you are having a blast with your rughooking group....can't wait to retire to join you!
ReplyDeleteWent to the simple goods show last year and was so terrified.. Got in the back of the building and was stuck for several min due to the crowd. Way too many people in one building. Just be careful. Maybe they learned their lesson last time and have it set up different... SANDi.
