AROUND THE VILLAGE...

Oh my goodness, it was so bitter cold today. Business was a little slow, so I decided to take you on a little tour of our village and show you what we have to offer. Holly is a very quaint little town, a wonderful place to spend the day. Come along with me and we'll get started. Of course, you must come see me at Holly Hills Primitives!
We're the only prim shop in town and we have so much fun. We sell antiques, new goodies to go with your antiques, reproductions, gifts and wonderful handmades.

To get your morning started, you can go from our shop right through the doors into Zanie Janie's Simply Coffee.
What a cozy little place to get warm, have a great cup of coffee and watch the world go by.
Janie roasts her own coffee and it is SOOO YUMMY!

One of the newest shops in town is the Holly Mill & Company. Autumn opened this shop in the old Holly grain elevator. There are so many Michigan made products to choose from and more to come.
Autumn and Janie (in her new hat).
There are the most wonderful selection of beautiful scarves.
Come pamper yourself (or someone on your Christmas list).
Enlarge the picture and look at the beautiful glass bird feeders, also Michigan food products. Welcome Autumn!
Going to a party? Then Marta's Loft is a must! Marta is the best at helping you pick out that special outfit and helping you make it fit to perfection.
Marta has some of the most unusual accessories and wonderful clothes that you have ever seen and she is so helpful and accommodating. Don't miss out!
The Lamplighter is run by Bev and it is stunning. There is such a huge array of gifts, and she does such a beautiful job putting it all together.
Holy smokes! It is filled to the brim for the holidays.
Cathy opened My Sweet Holly a few months ago and it is filled with shabby eye candy.
I know there's a lot of you out there that love white painted furniture and she sure does have it! (Also black and natural wood.)
Is there anything sweeter than pink and white?
Pigeon In The Parlour is so lovely. Another great store filled to the brim with beautiful merchandise.
"Pigeon" has been in Holly for many years and will be for years to come.
Are you hungry yet? Then you HAVE to stop in for breakfast or lunch at the Bittersweet Cafe.
This little place is oozing with charm - but the best part is the food - EVERYTHING is delicious.
One of our three antique malls is Main Street Antiques and it is huge! There is everything from Victorian, to retro, to prim.
You won't believe how many booths there are to choose from!
And an upstairs too!
Jeannie has been in business with Creative Fashion for years and it is another wonderful, unique clothing store.
Just beautiful clothes and accessories.
Mary is pushing to get her new art gallery opened soon. It is going to be the frosting on the cake in Holly and she is such a doll! Welcome to Holly Mary!
The Historic Holly Hotel is a place all it's own. True Victorian charm! You can have Sunday brunch, afternoon tea, or gourmet dinners. There is also a weekend comedy club downstairs.
Arcade Antiques is just the best antique mall. The "shops" inside were all building parts from Holly and is a feast for the eyes. Pat is the owner and so very nice. Don't miss this one when you come to town.
The building is just the greatest, with old store and building fronts throughout.
This old antique Santa is there to greet you on the old log floors.
Ready for a break yet? Sophie's is the place to go. They have the best ice cream and lunches. Want a burger and a shake?
Jeanie from Creative Fashion is also opening another art gallery that will only feature one artist - originals and prints.
Getting things set up and ready for the weekend.
We also have a fabulous frame shop - Holly Art and Framing.
It is run and owned by Carol and I hear she really knows what she is doing.
Cottage Antiques is another "white" shop filled with furniture and gifts.
Love these snowmen!
Dan and Holly opened the Holly Candle Shoppe and have been such a boost to Holly's morale! You can even bring in your own containers to have candles poured.
This shop is a delight to your senses!
This one is a little out of order, but we are so lucky to have this photography shop in town - run by Kel Leigh.
The photography shop and Something Blue bridal shop.
Every little village needs a bridal shop and now we have one!

Now that you've shopped 'til you almost dropped, how about a little pampering at Elements Day Spa?
Or a little relaxing Yoga at Ethos Center?
So glad you came along for the tour, but I have to apologize to a couple of shops I missed. Remember When Candy Shop is filled with old-fashioned candy and the owners, Chris and Cheryl, are just the best. There is also Water Tower Antiques Mall and more just around the corner.
Hope you enjoyed yourselves and can make a real live trip to visit our little village. I don't think you'll be disappointed! When you're finished, come back and see me before you go home.
Until next time...
