WE'RE BACK...

Wowee! Another flying buying trip this week, but did we ever find some great new goodies! First Dick, Carol and I went to the other side of the state to a primitive auction, but most everything went sky high. We did manage to find some great prims to bring home, but nothing like we had hoped! There were some other dealers there that we know and we all just stood and shook our heads as the prices skyrocketed. Oh well, I'm just thankful for the things we were able to pick up.

Then, it was on to Ft. Wayne to the markets and I feel so blessed to find some wonderful items to add to the shop. See the two furniture pieces that we packed around? You'll see the pictures of the real deal tomorrow!

Carol is the ultimate "packer" and we managed to get everything in before we headed back to Michigan. We managed to do a little more antiqueing on the way home and had lots of fun and laughs. Came home with a whole list of new ideas to start creating.

Today Dick and I got everything priced, moved furniture and got the shop back into order. This weekend is Patriot Weekend in Holly with lots of events and fun planned for all. We're told that our little village expects at least 2000 visitors! Holy cow! BUT we're ready and waiting. We are going to be in the parade at 10 a.m. and then on to open the shop after the parade. If you'd like to have some great fun, come out to Holly and join in. To check the schedule, go to Facebook and look up the Holly Chamber of Commerce.
More pictures to follow in my next post.

Until next time...
