FANTASTIC WEEKEND...

Good evening prim pals! Whew! What a whirlwind weekend we have had! My friend Tammy and her sister April picked me up Friday morning at 6:30 and we headed to Waynesville, Ohio. We shopped at the Wooden Sunflower, Old Glory, and Sawdust and Stitches and then headed over to Washington Courthouse to North Shore Primitives. We also went to Greenfield, Ohio to visit Tattered and Torn, another darling shop. After shopping, we headed to Mansfield, Ohio to check into our hotel room. We had so many laughs and so much fun and finally got to sleep so we could get up early to head to the Simple Goods show. Sorry I didn't get more pics on my camera, the rest are on my phone and I don't know how to get them to the blog. The show was absolutely amazing! The early goods were to die for! The vendors were fantastic! I went with a mission and you'll hear about that in just a couple of weeks. Keep watching - I promise it will be worth it! I brought back these PRIM crows for the shop - made by Too Far Gone and a bunch of long prairie bonnets made by Linda Stinson in Pennsylvania. Stop in and pick one up before they are gone! I finally got my rug hung over the fireplace today and love how it turned out. Now I've got to get my other finished up! I also added more bowls to the bowl rack - I just need one more! So much fun to putz, I just don't get enough time to do it! Well pals, it's time to get some rest. Lots more "planning" and sewing to do tomorrow. Remember, stay tuned!!! Until next time...

  1. Hi Dawn,
My friend Linda and I are heading to Waynesville this week to do some shopping. Sometimes I miss living there and the shop that I had. I love North Shore Primitives too, but I've never been to the shop in Greenfield. Thinking my sister and I might have to go there sometime. Never been to the Simple Goods show either.
    hugs,
    Cindy

  3. How much fun you must have had! I love Waynesville. Also Lebanon and the Golden Lamb. Linda Stinson is one of the best crafters ever. I love her stuff. She is a neat lady too. Can't wait for the "reveal." Sorry you won't be in Clinton this weekend. It will be good when you are.lol

  5. You went to all my favorite shops! How did you ever have money to even make it to simple goods? ;) Marples is wonderful. And so is north shore. We head down that way about once a month and spend all our money. LOL! Simple Goods looked amaziing as always. I skipped it this year due to the crowds that were there last year. I hear they opened the areas up more though so maybe I will go back. Have a great day! Carmen and the Primcats
