SUNFLOWERS, CROWS, AND SCARECROWS...

It's getting to be that time of year when the gardening and generic things are getting kind of boring to me - we've done all that since early spring. I decided to add in some late summer goodies this week with lots more to come.
Isn't this metal box just the best? It was painted by our Sharon and is SOOOO cute! It could be used for so many things, the bottom section opens.
An old crow and a funky bird flew in the other day and landed in our old greenhouse. They are just waiting for somebody to take them home!
Another Sharon creation. This old crow is on an old cheesebox. What great storage for your creative goodies.
The scarecrows are sneeking in too. Guess it's too hot for them to stand outside right now! Love this big head on an old antique oil can. He has a needle felted sunflower attached to his burlap hat.
This guy is mounted to an old rake and has two ears of corn right with him for the crows to nibble on!
This little guy is on an old bed spring with a little crow sitting on his shoulder.
A couple bobbin dolls also came in this week. This one has a needle felted pumpkin attached to the front of her dress with two old rusty pins.
This little black bobbin doll has a needle felted sunflower and a pocket full of Sweet Annie.
I will be adding new goodies all next week and getting ready for our "Evening In The Country" on July 16 from 5-9. Hope you marked your calendars! This shop hop is going to be so much fun and Wren In The Willow is a special shop you don't want to miss. We are going to have lots of food, Zanie Janie is going to have free taste tests too. Come sit under the tent to have some summer yummies and listen to the live music that we are going to have!
We'll be talking again soon!
Until next time...
