WOW! What a fun Wednesday we had in town! Zanie Janie (next door) let us use the front of her coffee shop for a birthday party for my mom. She turns 88 on Monday and we wanted to surprise her a little early. She has put in a rough two years with Dad in the nursing home and she needed something just for her. We had salads, munchies and beautiful cupcakes.
Daughter Ashley (Surre Cakes) made Grandma these beautiful cupcakes. They were almost too pretty to eat.

Last night I went over to help daughter Amanda out for awhile and these two little cuties had to put on party dresses. (Ellie and Caroline)
I could have just swooped them up and brought them home!Hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend and lets all keep our fingers crossed that Blogger gets straightened out so we can start leaving comments!!!

Dawn, So glad to see you got to post. Such a sweet gesture you did for your Mom. She is such a sweet looking Lady. At this age they deserve all we can give. Ahhh... how nice! Your family is always doing such nice things for each other! Tell your mom Happy Birthday from Nebraska! The cupcakes are gorgeous. If you lived closer I would be ordering those for one of my open houses!
