After we left Waynesville, we stopped in to North Shore Primitives in Washington Courthouse. What a blast of prim eye candy! Just beautiful.
Then on to Columbus to buy, buy, buy. You know all those last minute goodies like MORE and MORE battery candles, rice lights, greens, and tons of surprises. The only problem is, the storeroom at the shop is FULL of Christmas and now it is taking over at home and in the garage. Can't wait for next week to start changing EVERYTHING and getting all of the new prim wares into the shop for our holiday open house on November 5 and 6 (we will be closed on November 3 and 4 to dress the shop in her best prim accessories).
The reindeer are resting against the wall, taking their last nap before it's time to help Santa.
The boxes are heeping up and sneeking into the house one by one.
SOOO, today I will be sewing, sewing and more sewing to finish up the last of everything I have sewn and stuffed. Dick will be creating like mad in the garage (I think he got really inspired after our trip)! Don't forget to mark you calendars and come have some fun with us at our holiday open house.
By the way, all of our fall/Halloween is now marked down to 40% off while it lasts. Time to broom out the shop and make room for all the boxes of fun Christmas.
Until next time...
Oh Dawn .... Looks like its gonna be a Wonderful Christmas Season at HHP, you are loaded with Goodies !! Can't wait to see pictures of the Shop when you do the change over.

Dawn, could there be anything better than being a primitive shop keeper? I so wish I lived closer. Looking forward to viewing all your wonderful Christmas goodies! Julie.
ReplyDeleteDawn...Oh how I would love to come to your holiday open house, but I'm getting ready for my Christmas show.
ReplyDeleteMy sister and I went in Sawdust & Stitches when we had a chance to get out of my booth during The Sauerkraut Festival down in Waynesville. Wonderful primitive shop.

My goodness...you and your DH sure are working hard! I know your open house will be wonderful! I have been to Waynesville a few times and just love it, but I don't think those primitive shops were there at the time. I'm going to have to make a trip back. Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteHi Dawn.
ReplyDeleteI might just have to take a trip across the border for your Open House.

Hi Dawn...can't wait to see the shop in all her prim Christmas glory!! I decided not to do an open house this year, going to the beach instead! Have fun decorating, headed to MD this weekend, the Lancaster Ohio!
ReplyDeleteDawn,
ReplyDeleteI can imagine the fun your customers have coming into your shop...how blessed they are to be close enough to shop with you.
And the merchandise you bought is wonderful.
Enjoy!
