CRAFT SHOW, PRINCESS AND BIRTHDAY GIRL...

Good Sunday afternoon Prim Pals! Are you staying cool in this darned heat? Temps are close to 100 here, but I know they are a lot worse down south. Sending out prayers for our Colorado and Virginia blog friends. We had such great news Friday night, our Abbey was elected Oakland County 4-H Fair Rabbit Princess. I was so thrilled that it was based on a written essay, an interview, a written test and showmanship of a rabbit. Congratulations Abbey! You'll always be our princess.
This afternoon our family gathered at daughter Ashley's house to celebrate Lucy's third birthday. Big sister Abbey was trying to keep Lucy patient before opening gifts. It's SO hard when you're three!
It was finally time to dig in. She was so cute, she would just shake with excitement when she opened something she wanted so bad.
The hit of the day were the "stompy" slippers for both girls from great-grandma. When you walk in them, the ears pop up! Adorable.
Time to blow out the candles. Yummy dinosaur cake!
Our little Cinderella posting on her new scooter from us. The other part of her gift is going to be a trip to the Detroit Zoo. Happy Birthday dear, sweet Lucy! Now, if you're out and about on Wednesday, July 4th, come on down to Clintonwood Park in Clarkston, Michigan. We are going to participate in the arts and crafts show put on by Keepsake Collection along with Bob and Peggy from Wren In The Willow. Poor Dick is out building like crazy in this heat to be ready for the show. The parade is in downtown Clarkston at 10 and then the craft show, music, kid's spray park and more start in the park at 11. The craft show is over at 5 p.m., but the fireworks will start at dusk. Come on out and check out the new goodies we have to offer - one whole section of fall! Hope to see you there! Until next time...
