TGIF!! Hope you all have fun plans for the weekend. I just had to share some of our latest goods with you. Debbie brought in the cutest OLD baby "stroller". It is so adorable! Can you imagine putting your baby in here now? Sure would be cute for a special doll though.
Close-up of seat area.
This is my latest piece of furniture. It would make the best entertainment center for a flat-screen t.v. The cupboard has two doors and filled with shelves and the top is a four foot door! It looks so prim with the old red colored paint. The perfect storage for c.d.'s and movies.
The old door on top still has the latch.
Our painting instructor, Sharon, has done some of the cutest darn things for me! Just look at these ironing boards she painted. Wouldn't they be cute next to your back door or on a front porch?
This chicken is a hoot!
This old chicken feeder has a border of crows around the bottom. It would be so pretty filled with a plant or to use as a bird feeder.
These old enamel refrigerator storage tops made the best signs. Couldn't you just see one on a picket fence?
Or anyplace else near your garden?
This black spoon rack is also a cutie. It even has a metal liner in the bottom for a little plant!
Tomorrow night is our "Retro Prom" in Holly and we got vintage prom dresses that are just a riot! I have them throughout the shop and have had more fun with people trying them on.
I might just have to buy this beauty to keep for our Witch's Nite Out!
This one is a sweetie, probably from the 1940's. Zanie Janie has some funny ones in her shop too. Can't wait to go to the prom, it is going to be so much darn fun. Don't forget, you can get tickets at the door tomorrow night at Heather Highlands golf course in Holly.
My Gannon boy decided he needed to come over for a sleepover tonight, so his mom dropped him off at the shop this afternoon. I was so tickled that she had all the other kids with her too, so we went into Zanie Janie's and had a little cookie party. Little Ellie is one of my "bestest buddies". I call her Peanut and she calls me Grandma Peanut.
Jack is a sweetheart too. He is so curious about everything and loves to have fun.
And, of course, Caroline loves those chocolate chip cookies too. What a dolly!
Well friends, hope you have a wonderful weekend and that some of you can make it to the prom! Until next time...
