SUMMER WARES...

HAPPY HOLIDAYS MY FRIENDS! Got some great new goodies in the shop that I've been wanting to share with you. I know blue is coming back in style and we got this cute little drop-leaf table and two chairs ready for your breakfast nook. A small cupboard will be in the shop next week to match. Just perfect for a smaller dining area or kitchen.

Love, love, love this OLD wheelboro!

Another child's wheelboro, also great for your porch!

How about a "flower bed"? This one is a cutie with an attached burlap sack, old rake and sign.

This window is a Too Far Gone creation and I'm SOOOO tempted to bring it home for my own porch! (But I won't, I want to share these things with my customers.)

A very unique old gas/oil can with a verse, sunflowers and crows.

Carol found this wonderful old wooden box with advertising on all four sides. It is filled with herb markers for your garden.

How I wish my island was big enough to hold this old buggy seat. Wouldn't it be great for serving a buffet? The dollies love it too.

Funny old cat wreath is ready for summer with his watermelon.

More little girl's stitched dresses. They seem to be a "hot" item!

Do any of you know what this is? I sure didn't! It's the hoop and bustle to go under those long-ago dresses. Can you imagine having to wear this???

Do you have fun plans for the holiday? My husband is going to drive the vets that can't march any more in the parade and I think I'm going to be in it too. Our village has a wonderful ceremony each year and we always look forward to being there. Maybe we'll have a cook-out (if the rain stops) and spend some time with our family. Hope you all enjoy your days!

Until next time...

  2. Love all the new wares, each and everyone displayed so nicely. Boy, would I love to give that sweet wooden red wheelbarrow a home, however I am sure it would cost a small fortune to send to Maine. Have a great weekend! Julie.

  3. As usual your shop looks just wonderful Dawn!!

And thank you for your sweet comment. I had you in mind when I mentioned blogging friends dealing with the same time constraints and trying to do the best for the parents. You certainly have given so much of yourself, including your home!! I don't know how you do it with your business too!

I hope the parade is great - what a wonderful contribution your hubby is making. You are both what I call "good people"!! Warm hugs!

  4. Oh Dawn, You know I always love all the pictures of your shop. It's better than flipping thru a magazine. Just not ever enough pictures. Love the window, the wooden wheelbarrow and the gas/oil can. Where do you find all these old things? It's so amazing to me. If we find things like that here the price is thru the roof and no way we could buy them and resale at our prices!! I still say I live in the wrong state.(ha) Oh and I love the little dress with the old picture. Love the saying at the bottom. Hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the parade on Monday. Hugs!
