A NIGHT IN OUR VILLAGE...

Hi Prim Pals! I can't believe that it's been over a week since I've posted! It's been one crazy, busy week, but lots of fun too! My friend moved back here from North Carolina and rented the apartment right above our shop. We have been painting, decorating and getting her settled and it is PRIM PERFECT! I hope to have pictures to post in a few days. It is magical to be up there at night and look out at our village. Tonight Dick and I took her walking and we had such a great night!
Every two weeks there is a free movie in Battle Alley. Tonight it was moved behind the mill because of a wedding in the street.
They have a blow-up screen and speakers and it is so much fun! Popcorn and all.
The crowds bring blankets and lawn chairs and have a ball.
The famous Holly Hotel set up the tent in the street this afternoon for the wedding. I was sitting in front of the shop and heard this beautiful classical music and just had to peek around the corner. The music was coming from the wedding.
Tonight the reception was in full swing and it was just gorgeous.
We walked down to Blackthorn's Pub and just happened to hear the greatest music. Two guys (Sam and Jeremy) were playing and we just couldn't get enough. Hope to hear lots more from these two!
This is the front of Holly Hills Primitives and Zanie Janie's at night.
We have been in full-swing mode to get our annual Dicken's Festival moving this week too! Had a great positive meeting. The events for fundraising are underway and will be announced soon. This will be the 39th year of this wonderful tradition. So, all in all, it has been a fun week and tonight was the icing on the cake. Hope you have a peaceful Sunday. Until next time...
