Four generations.
Great-grandma loves her little Lucy too!
They had SO many games, Abbey just had a ball! (She has on the aqua shirt.) Musical chairs - she tied for first!
LOTS of dances!
The Limbo.
The bagpiper - so beautiful!
Tug of war - the girls won twice!
The sack race.
Abbey showing her ribbon to Great-Grandpa. She even danced the twist with him in his wheelchair! The nursing home furnished cake (for Grandparent's Day), ice cream, sodas, floats, cones, sundaes and more. It was really quite something and I'm so glad Dad had such a great turn-out of guests. When we went to leave he had tears in his eyes, but I know he had a great time.
This ended up being quite the weekend! Poor Abbey was so tired from all of it, her mom said she didn't want to go to school today. Oh, the price we pay for fun...
Hope your weekend was great too!
Until next time...

The pictures are precious! Those are priceless memories that Abby is making with her great-grandpa. She will really treasure those as she gets older.
