Sunday morning we went into town (Tawas) and walked through the craft show (didn't find a thing) and then out to the pier. Of course we had to stop and throw a penny in the fountain.
Papa and Abbey always have so much darn fun!
The fog had rolled in over Lake Huron and we were so disappointed. One of the "tall ships" was in the harbor and we could hardly see it. It was still beautiful!
Tall ship in the fog!
When we went back to the cottage, we took the paddle boat out into the lake and went swimming. Abbey loved to do the "dead man's float" after the boats zipped by making waves.
Her life jacket was a little too big, but she didn't mind!
Last night Papa and Abbey went for a ride to look for deer and came across these Emu's, she loved that! (They also saw 11 deer.)
When we got home this afternoon, we met Mom at the nursing home and took Dad out to dinner. This is the first time he has been out since May, so it was a great outing. He loved going for a ride and the coconut cream pie!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!
Until next time...
