FIRST DAY OF THE SHOW...

WOW! What a day! We are doing the Weekend In The Country show in Davisburg, MI and it was one crazy morning! The cars were backed up from Springfield-Oaks (4-H Fairgrounds) all the way through downtown Davisburg before it opened. It was such a beautiful day, perfect for attending such a big show. There are over 150 vendors, music, food, baked goods, antiques...

We brought in some cornstalks to put with the scarecrow!

Tomorrow there will be several "show only" specials in our booth, including this tilt-top table...

...and make-do chairs.

We have a little "cubby hole" to set in, surrounded by stitcheries and smalls. Wouldn't you just know that my camera battery died right when I was trying to take pictures of our booth??? It will be back on the charger tonight and ready for more pictures around the grounds tomorrow. One booth has the most beautiful mum plants (big) for $6 each or 3 for $15!! I'm hoping to have some time to really go through some of the other vendor's areas tomorrow before the show starts. If you're looking for something to do on this beautiful fall weekend, come on out and say "hello". The show runs from 10-5 tomorrow. Now it's time for some jammies and the couch! Until next time...
