Holly Hills Primitives is a brick and mortar storefront in the quaint village of Holly, Michigan. My name is Dawn Rossell and the shop has been in operation for approximately eight years. About three years ago, my husband, Dick, retired and has joined forces with me. We will ship anywhere in the United States, everything but furniture. We hope you will find that most of our merchandise is high quality primitive wares. Give us a call at the shop and we will get your orders out within two to three days. But don't forget, we still want you to come visit us at the shop too!
Good evening! What a beautiful day we've had here in Michigan today. The temps were a little cooler, the sky was an amazing clear blue, and our village was hopping. We had our next September Super Saturday at the shop, live music, treats and some new furniture.
We have had several requests for make-do chairs and we're finally getting them in. The first one is a grubby bittersweet color with a feedsack upholstered back.
Next is the one I want to bring home! It is cobblestone with a plain old feedsack back. Love them both though and can't wait to get more.
We also have a make-do settle in stock. Wouldn't it be cute next to a fireplace this fall?
This buttermilk cupboard is prim as can be.
Who doesn't love a tilt-top table? This doubles as a bench...
...or a table. Just the perfect size.
This grubby red tavern table is fantastic. It has a "box" at the bottom that is held with leather hinges. It opens to store linens or whatever else you might have in mind.
Check out this new shelf and crock bench. It almost looks like it could be a buttery!
The shelf has a small little cupboard with a "hole" for a handle, pegs across the top with two shelf areas.
The crock bench could hold quite a collection. I love the spoon holder on the top shelf!
We are SOOO lucky to have our own Gary Musgrave play live music out front on these September Super Saturdays. He is outstanding! Come give a listen and maybe you'll want to book him for your own special event!
We always try to talk his wife, Debbie, into doing at least one song with him!
So many people bought coffee (and other yummy drinks) from Zanie Janie and came to set outside to enjoy the music. We saw people setting on benches all around the town having a ball!
We can't wait until next Saturday to be at The Old Granary for the Gathering On The Lawn in Quincy, Michigan. Come on down and have some fun with Holly Hills Primitives.
Until next time...
