PREPARING FOR THE SHOW...

Oh my gosh, friends, if you're in the area, you have just got to come to THE PLACE WE CALL HOME GATHERING starting tomorrow night at 9171 Henderson Road, Goodrich, MI. Peggy and I (along with some other great gals) have been working for three days and we still have a full day to go before we open at 5 p.m. There are the most spectacular fall, Halloween, Christmas, and generic items for sale!

I wanted to give you a little sneak peek at some of the prim furniture at the show. I'm in love with this cobblestone make-do chair with feedsack back.

This buttermilk cupboard is just gorgeous.

This mustard blanket crane shelf makes a real statement in a room.

Especially if it's over this mustard dry sink!

You can't see the crock bench very well, but there's a shelf to match over it.

We aren't finished decorating yet, but this is the top of a large cupboard.

The lit gourds are spectacular! I'll post more pictures after we finish decorating. Just remember, you can order custom furniture in any color or size.

I couldn't let the week sneak past without sharing pictures of Abbey's first day of 5th grade. She is ready to take on another great year.

Abbey calls me "Bebe" and Dick calls her "Little Bebe". I think she just might be the next manager of Holly Hills Primitives.

And off they go to school! Those two are so close and enjoy life to the fullest. The most important news of the week is that our Gannon is home from the hospital and will be at the show helping customers carry packages on Saturday. This is the very best news I've had all year! So, it's time to get some sleep and be ready to get back to it tomorrow. We have to be ready for our customers by 5 p.m. tomorrow. Hope to see you there! Until next time...
