GRANDCHILDREN DAY...

Good sunny morning! What beautiful weather we've been having and it's supposed to last through the weekend - hooray!!!
My Gannon (oldest grandson) called me after work on Tuesday and wanted to come spent the night. He went to visit "Great-Grandpa" with me (which lit up Dad's evening) and then helped move Mom's new furniture into her living room. He loves to come hang out at the shop with me, so I had him there most of the day yesterday. He thinks its great to go pick up our lunch or go get us an ice cream (the town is small enough that I can watch where he's going without him knowing it!). Amanda brought the other grand-babies to pick him up in the afternoon and it was so much fun to spend time with them in town. Of course they all had to have an ice cream too! Ellie, Jack (in the back), Amanda, baby Caroline and Gannon.
Caroline's first ice cream - and she was crazy about it!!!

Sweet Ellie a/k/a Peanut. (She calls me Grandma Peanut now because I always call her Peanut.) She is such a dolly.
Ellie and Jack with my skeleton man!
It won't be long until these little ones will be coming to spend the day at Grandma's store.
I had a great response to our new line-up of fall classes. People were already in signing up yesterday. Seems that the captured witch in the jar and soldered necklaces have been the favorites so far! Should be lots of fun.
Wow, we went to check out our new "house" last night and all of the studs are up and the plumbing is started for our kitchen. You can actually see where the rooms are going to be and start imagining where the furniture is going to go! All of the wiring has to be done before they can start hanging the drywall, but it is STARTING to take shape. I'm hoping to be able to move sometime in October - before the weather gets too cold! We are taking pictures of each step, so I'll share those when it's finished.
Well girls, time to get moving to the shop. Hope I get to meet lots of new people today!
Until next time...
