GIVEAWAYS AND BIRTHDAYS...

I was so excited when the mail lady came to the shop yesterday morning! She delivered a package to me from the give-away I won from Tricia at Hillcrest Home Prims! I could smell the goodies before I even got the box open!

This was what was inside! The candle, wax fixin's and a little autumn sign.
I just LOVE the black wax hearts - it blends right in. I tend to decorate with a lot of black and mustard. The scent just fills our sitting room with an aroma that makes you think of fall.
It found a home on my mantle and it's just perfect!

This afternoon we headed over to daughter Amanda's home to celebrate two birthdays, her husband Greg and son Jack. Greg was ready to cut into that delicious carrot cake!
Birthday boy Jack (6 years old) and big brother Gannon. I was so proud of Gannon! He helped me at the shop for awhile yesterday and he took his $5 and put it in Jack's card. What a nice big brother!

They couldn't wait to tear into the big one!
Greg got a little camping equipment to bring to The Little House (or Campsite No. 1 as he calls it). They are making good use of the camper we bought for up there earlier this summer.
We spent quite awhile setting up Jack's new fort...
before it all fell in a heap! Good thing someone invented duct tape!
Sweet little Caroline wanted to get in on the action too. This was a fun afternoon with a part of our wonderful family!
