AND THE CARS ROLLED IN...

All good things must come to an end. Tonight was the big Halloween car cruise in downtown Holly, the last cruise of the "summer". What fun we had! There were 201 classic cars, the owners dressed in costume and handed out candy. Of course Zanie Janie and I had to join in the fun!
How about these tights? Pretty snazzy huh? The streets were packed! The d.j. played Halloween music and there was even an old hearse with a coffin!
Janie's son Joel put on his gorilla mask and hands with a Zanie Janie apron. It was hilarious!
My pretty peacock, Abbey, was so proud of her new costume! Doesn't she look adorable?
Lucy loved to take her candy in and out of her bucket! Don't you just love the babies on Halloween?
Ashley and her girls.
Daughter Amanda brought Jack, Ellie and Caroline over to join in too. We had to hurry up and find something for them to wear to trick or treat. Ellie got right in on the act!
I ended up having 5 out of 7 grandchildren at the shop tonight and it was a ball!
Check out that orange beauty in front of our shops!
Dick took the camera around and got some shots of his favorites - but he forgot to take a picture of the cutest VW convertible for me!
Some things were a little yukky! But, after all, it was the Halloween show!
Yup, I could have driven this beauty home with me!
Pretty classic old Cadillac.
All in all, it was a really fun night in town and nobody seemed to want to go home. They stayed until well after dark and it was like a parade when all of the cars started leaving. This was the best show of the year and we will all be looking forward to next spring.
Until next time...
