PRIMS, PUMPKINS AND PAINTING...

Good evening friends! What a LONG 24 hours! Yesterday I took a load of dolls to a shop about an hour away and, yes, she bought quite a few. Then I came back to the shop and two good-size pieces of furniture were sold. What can you do but go get more (which I'll show you tomorrow)? Got to bed about midnight after driving about an hour the other direction, back to the shop to unload... THEN this morning I had to be up at 4 a.m. to take my mom in for eye surgery. We were headed home by 9 a.m., got her settled in and then off to the shop. Yup, it was a mess. Had to put everything from last night in place and start painting a couple pieces. After work I went to visit Dad at the nursing home and I'm finally home and already in my p.j.'s! Whew, I am tired.
Just wanted to pop in and show you a couple new goodies we are getting into the shop. I just love the little black doll holding pumpkins and a crow. Her hair is made from cheesecloth and she is PRIM!
Our painter, Sharon was busy. She brought in three new pieces, and before she even made it home, I sold two of them! Hope she's busy painting tonight! This planter is as cute as it can be with it's prim sunflower. It would be adorable sitting on a porch!
Then Bonnie, who does beautiful gourds, brought some gorgeous fall things in. I love the white pumpkin with the crow!
This picture doesn't do this orange pumpkin justice - it isn't that bright of an orange.
More gourds in our baskets and more are on the way! Stay tuned. This is one talented lady!
A simple grapevine wreath with a black pumpkin would be a great prim welcome on your door!
I ran out of steam to take pictures of the furniture, but I promise that will happen tomorrow.
If you're in the area, Saturday is the downtown Holly sidewalk sale and I know my shop is going to have some great bargains! Be sure to stop in if you're in the area.
Until next time...
