IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR...

Oh my goodness! September is finally here and we can all look forward to decorating inside and out for fall. From reading everyone's blogs, it seems that we all love the fall. I got out a few handmade pumpkins and put them in the old trencher on the mantle, but I've been so busy redoing the shop that I haven't had time to think about home - until now!
Tomorrow night we are going to venture up to The Little House (hope the traffic isn't terrible when we come home). I love to putz around and bring out the boxes of fall goodies for the cottage. It always looks so warm and cozy when I'm outside looking in at the candles in the windows and the "quiet" lights.
While we're up north, we are heading up to Harrisville, MI to a HUGE craft show! If you're in the area - don't miss it! They have a parade, live music and I couldn't begin to tell you how many vendors are there. Of course my favorite is Wren In The Willow from Goodrich, MI. I dropped some things off to Peggy last night and she was working so hard with Bob to finish up their wares to load the 20 FOOT trailer. Is there anything more fun than the fall festivals and shows?
Fall is in the air around here too. The temps went from the mid-90's to low 70's and are supposed to even be in the 60's tomorrow! What a difference a day makes. I suppose it will even be cool enough for a camp fire.
By the way, in an earlier post I made a huge mistake! When Connie and I went to the Country Gatherings show in Ohio we met Barb and Giles and the name of their company is CABIN IN THE WOODS NC! Sorry you two, guess I was just too tired when I did that post! You should definitely see their wares if you get a chance - prim perfect!
This has been the week of sleepovers! Abbey spent the night on Wednesday and Gannon came last night. I think they are trying to get in one more night before school starts! The little ones are all telling me that it's their turn - so that will be soon! I can't believe we are lucky enough to have SEVEN grandchildren, but what a joy! There's nothing that makes your heart sing more than for their excited little faces and hugs to greet you at the door!
Well girls, off to the shop! Can't wait to see who comes in today.
Hope you all have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend!
Until next time...
